Glaze theory 101. Get ready to elevate your ceramic skills by learning how to make your very own glazes.

Run by our very own glaze technician Penny Dillon, the aim of this workshop is to give you the confidence and knowledge to begin mixing your own glazes. 

We will start by covering the theory components, including the basics of glaze chemistry, how to read a glaze recipe, ingredients to get you started and safety and equipment. We will mix a test batch of a base glaze with colourants, and glaze some test tiles. The results can be collected from the studio once they have been fired.
