Welcome to HoliCLAY!!!

Our HoliCLAY classes are the perfect first step into the world of clay making for young people.  

If they've always wanted to try it out, but feel a little intimidated and aren't sure where to start, this is it. 

This class is perfect for ages 7 -16. 

+ What you will make

This class is broken into two making styles.

1.5 hours of handbuilding a plate

1.5 hours of wheel throwing a small dish

Our expert teachers will take you through the process step-by-step, and make sure that everyone comes away with two creations - a plate from handbuilding and on the wheel this may end up being a small  bowl, cup, vase, sculpture... that's completely up to the creator. 

What will your piece look like? It might be a bit ‘organic’ and ‘perfectly imperfect’ but it will be 100% handmade by you.

Students will pick one handbuilding and one wheel throwing creation for us to glaze and fire. Everything else can be taken home or fired at an extra cost depending on the size of the piece.

In this 180 minute class.  All of our teachers are WWCC certified.

This course is ideal for ALL potters (no experience necessary!)

Clothes that can get clay on them ( it washes out).
