Makers with experience looking for some independent studio time

Are you a budding potter, with experience, who wants to work on their own practice, but doesn't have the time to commit to a full membership? Our unsupervised Studio Drop In sessions are designed for you.

Take advantage of our fully equipped studio to rehash your creativity.

 

+ Length and structure

Our 4 hour studio sessions are only available to those who are able to work independently and safely within the studio. An induction will be given during your initial session to familiarise yourself with the studio and the dos and don'ts. Participants must be familiar with tools and proficient with the use of clay.  Clay must be purchased separately.

+ Required learning

It is required that you have experience. 

+ How long can you leave your work in the studio

You will need to take your work home with you.

+ What to bring

Everything you need. Clay, tools, etc. 

+ Cost of firing

You can not leave your work at the studio but if you wish to fir it. All pieces must go through two firings (bisque & glaze).  We fire at a cost of $15/kg PER firing

Firing costs will be paid upon pickup of final pieces.

Any pieces being glazed in a studio drop in session MUST have been made in a previous studio drop in (we cannot fire any outside made work)
